I GUESS YOU COULD CALL ME A SLUT....

I MEAN I'VE BEEN WITH SO MANY PEOPLE....

MEN AND WOMEN....

AND NEVER THE SAME ONE TWICE....

AFTER I'VE SEEN WHAT THEY HAVE TO OFFER....

WHY KEEP THEM AROUND....

A WOMAN PACES BACK AND FORTH WAITING FOR HER SPECIAL GUEST. SHE HAD EVERYTHING SET UP FOR THE NIGHT. WINDOWS CLOSED, CANDELS LIT TO SET THE MOOD, EVEN SOME SOFT MUSIC. THEY TYPICALY LIKE THE MUSIC. SHE LOOKED OVER THE ROOM CHECKING EVERY LITTLE BIT. ALL HER TOYS WERE HIDDEN AND MAGIZINES AND SUCH WERE PU T AWAY. SHE WALKED THREW THE HOUS
Razor SlutIt started so many years ago.
A little problem that proceeded to grow,
How big it would get, no one could know.
But if they had, it could have helped so.

She grasped the blade, it touched her skin;
This is where the saga did begin.
She cut herself to remove her sin,
The evil poured out as the steel went in.

She soon realized that each cut brought release
It brought her harmony, brought her peace.
It was a welcome feeling, how could she cease?
The amount of cutting began to increase.

It was a vicious cycle of blood and pain
She'd cut one day, then try to abstain.
You can't understand, because it's hard to explain;

Scrape apart desire
Lure the burning pain
Use misuse abuse my body
Time and time again

Say bye to decency
Let it run away
Understand the shame and pain
Take my soul today

Seduce me so easily
Lies are nice tonight
Uglify my thoughts and pride

Undermine til i cant operate
Turn my mind on hold

Scratch out my sorrow
Like the running blood
Utilize my strength and heart

Opening the zipper

Ignoring the whispers
From the room over

Some outraged girls shrieks
"Did you see her
Just drag him in like that?
What a slut!"

The girl she speaks to replies
"I know!
She probably as HAIDS
Or something!"

These girls say this
Like they're virgins,
They're not,
I know that for a fact

She has the button undone
By this point,
They're halfway down,
The fun is halfway there

She's not just a player,
She invented this whole game
Hope he
Can handle the heat

Boy in the next room
Highfives his pal
"Glad someone nailed that,
Not that it's hard or anything"

His pal laughs
"Say the man
Not
pathI am losing countenance
with all your blundering insurgents
you're quickly slipping through the cracks
of everything of permanence

your fleeting fits of cowardice
your trite displays of innocence
you're wired like an amateur
you're well and truly in for it

your love, it has a bitter edge
your sickness trapped under the bed
your influence is waning
and you're desperate to retain it

but could you comprehend the means
needed to scry it?
I've got a fascinating fact
and I'm itching to apply it

this took on a completely different turn than i was expecting as i was writing it.
that said, either you get this or you don't. it can probably be taken in a few different ways, i think.

The repeating lines match the symbolic repeated teasing of the skirt in the pic.
Of course other readings are possible, some already mentioned.

I'll fav this one.

This was more Robert Frost-Slyvia Plath blend. Usualy your more Slyvia.

Wow, great poem! I like the use of "she wasn't, this isn't". It really makes it flow and changes your perception of the poem, momentarily, then right back again until the end.
